Acanthoside B is a lignan with anti-inflammatory and anti-amnesic effects. Acanthoside B can be used for studies about Alzheimer's disease and lung inflammation.(In Vitro):Acanthoside B has inhibitory effects on the allergic inflammation.(In Vivo):Acanthoside B restores the cholinergic activity, decreases the endogenous antioxidant status, suppresses neuroinflammation, and activates the TrkB/CREB/BDNF pathway thereby attenuating Scopolamine inflicted AD-like amnesic traits in mice.

Acanthoside B (oral gavage; 10-20 mg/kg; 7 days prior to Scopolamine injection) attenuates Scopolamine inflicted AD-like amnesic traits by restoring the cholinergic activity, decreasing the endogenous antioxidant status, suppressing neuroinflammation, and activating the TrkB/CREB/BDNF pathway in mice. Animal Model:Scopolamine-induced amnesic mouse model Dosage:10 mg/kg; 20 mg/kg Administration:oral gavage; 7 days Result:Exhibited an anti-amnesic effect in mice.
